This is my cropped oil on canvas version of "The Horse Fair" originally painted by French artist and painter of animals Rosa Bonheur (1822-1899). The original "The Horse Fair" canvas was 96" x 200", depicted a more panoramic view of a group of horses on parade for sale at auction and Bonheur worked on the large canvas from 1852 -1855.
